Do you see what I see?

There is a definate resemblance of Grindey to the "evil gremilin" named Stripe. Could that be why she is such a stinker??? :o)
For real...we are having so much fun with our new puppy. Her new list of tricks includes sitting, staying, coming when called and "shaking" her big fat puppy mitts. She is growing like a weed too.
Life is busy. I'm sick of the cold weather. DONE with the cold weather. I know of 4 different families on spring break this week. We were not one of them. Ugh. Mr. Sun can come and shine down on us very soon cuz if it snows one more time, I just might drive to Florida myself. If you can't find me, Call Disney.

Elle's First Date

Dr. James Dobson has been quoted as saying "a daughter's first date should be with her father." This past Saturday, Elle had her first date and it was with daddy! The Wausau YMCA always sponsors a Valentine Father-Daughter Dance and Dean decided to take his little girl to her first dance. It is always an extremely well attended event and it is a big deal...dads in suits and tuxes, and little girls all done up in their fanciest dress and girlied-up hair. Dean and Elle "double dated" with our good friends, Nate, Erin and Eden (Eden and Elle are best friends). They took the girls to the finest restaurant in town, followed by the dance. At the dance, each girl recieved a corsage, and a picture was taken of each father-daughter couple. At the end of the night, Elle said it was one of the best nights of her life.
I spent the night with misty eyes and a big smile thinking of the two of them spending the evening together. They rarely get to spend time together without the boys around, so it was a very special night for both of them. Sam and Jack and I enjoyed an evening of Sam's pizza, games, and grandma and grandpa.
